On-device tools

Many Konvert tools process files in your browser. For those paths, your files are not uploaded to Konvert for conversion or compression. The tool page states when processing is on-device.

If a future tool requires server processing, that page will disclose what leaves your device before you start.

Information we may collect

Site logs may include standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL, used for security and reliability.

If analytics is enabled for an environment, we may collect aggregated usage data (pages viewed, approximate region) through the configured analytics provider. Analytics identifiers are controlled by that provider’s policy.

If advertising is enabled, ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies as described in the Cookie Policy.

Cookies

Essential cookies or local storage may be used for basic site function. Advertising and analytics cookies are used only when those features are enabled. Details: Cookie Policy.

Retention and security

We retain operational logs only as long as needed for security and debugging. We do not sell personal files submitted through on-device tools, because those files are not uploaded on those paths.

Your choices

You can block or clear cookies in your browser. You can contact privacy@konvert.in for privacy questions. EU/UK users may have additional rights under applicable law; we will respond to verified requests.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product grows. The updated date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
