What Konvert provides

Konvert offers browser-based utility tools for jobs such as file conversion and compression. Each tool page describes what the tool does, its limits, and whether processing stays on your device.

Features can change as we add or improve tools. The live tool page is the source of truth for that tool’s behavior.

How files are handled

On-device tools process files in your browser and do not upload those files to Konvert for the job. Details are in the Privacy Policy and on each tool page.

You are responsible for downloading and storing any result you need. Konvert does not keep an on-device session file for you after you leave the page.

Your responsibilities

Use Konvert only for lawful purposes.

Only process files you have the right to handle. You are responsible for respecting copyright, privacy, and confidentiality laws that apply to your files.

Do not try to disrupt the service, overload it, bypass technical limits, or probe security controls.

Do not scrape Konvert’s catalog, documentation, or branding to rebuild a competing service from our content alone.

Read the limitations on each tool page before relying on a result for important work. Output quality depends on your file, your browser, and the tool’s engine path.

Acceptable use

We may refuse or limit access when we reasonably believe use is unlawful, abusive, or harmful to the service or other users.

You must not use the tools to process content that is illegal to possess or distribute in your jurisdiction.

Results and accuracy

Tools are provided as-is. We do not guarantee that every conversion or compression will meet a particular quality, size, or compatibility target.

Limitations listed on a tool page are part of these terms for that tool. Check them before you depend on an output.

Intellectual property

Konvert branding, site design, and original documentation are owned by Konvert or its licensors.

You retain your rights in the files you process. Using a tool does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Konvert disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. See also the Disclaimer page.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Konvert is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, arising from use of the site or tools.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date on this page will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
